Digital Experiential Boutique

THE CHALLENGE

Philips asked us to design, produce and install an immersive and eye-catching boutique store to be placed in MediaMarkt shops in Berlin & Vienna. Based on previous Philips designs, it was noted that shoppers lacked the motive to be drawn to the store and complete the full customer journey that resulted in a purchase.

OUR SOLUTION

We made a statement with our proposal, incorporating an immersive barista bar that transported shoppers to the cobbled streets of Italy. Passers-by could try samples from expert baristas, using Philips products, and take a selfie in front of the #MyPhilipsCoffeeMoment window.


The other half of the store was designed to replicate a relaxing home-styled aesthetic. Here shoppers were able to test products, watch video content and read customer reviews via iPads. Shoppers could also use digital touchscreens to reserve products and collect them in-store, allowing minimal stock to be displayed
in each boutique.


To better understand the use of the space footfall cameras were utilised and
confirmed the high performance of the boutiques with extremely positive feedback from both the client and new/existing shoppers.
